This listing is for Made to Order Thuttis Decorated Coconut Halves typically exchanged during Ladies Milni Ceremony at Sikh Punjabi Weddings or in Telugu Weddings.

Quantity: 10 Thuttis. Lace / Border designs, embellishments used may vary from the photos. We just supply empty decorated coconut halves you can fill these up as per your requirement

Design: Each shell is washed cleaned dried and then decorated with different decorations latkans and borders. Each piece is unique in its shape, size and decor.

Please Read: We use Natco brand coconut halves to make and decorate Thuttis for you. If you’d like to check the size, you can find these at most South Asian grocery stores.

While we don’t make much from this, especially when purchases come through ads, once you consider the cost of materials and the time it takes to wash, dry, and carefully decorate each piece, we continue because it helps keep our traditions and celebrations alive (and I truly love making them!).

It’s not rocket science to make them, just a bit time-consuming… so do give it a try! You might find yourself feeling even more connected to the wedding celebrations. And if not, we’re always gratefully here to cater to your orders ❤️🙏

Use: These are given by Brides mother to the Main ladies of the Groom side during Ladies Milni time. Normally people put - Puffed Rice/ Mishri sugar candy rocks/ Elaichi/Phoolmakhana fox nut/Sugared Almond/ and a £1 coin. Some put Chuara - Dried Date aswell So basically any of the above 5 items + £coin or £5 note neatly folded.

Money is normally put on top of the five items Please kindly note as these are handmade pieces these cannot be identical in size and shape there will be discrepancies and no two thuttis will be same!!
